Janine Rensch was born in Edinburgh in 1956. After a career in Finance and the Arts in London, she married and settled in Switzerland.
The discovery of Pilates through Julie Selwood proved to be an unexpectedly life changing experience. After many years of practise, she graduated from Julie’s training programme in 2011. She has an active interest in further education, takes regular workshops and completed the Kathleen Standford Grant Heritage Training with Cara Reeser in 2014.
In 2022 Janine graduated from the KRN Red Thread Pilates Professional Advanced Teacher Training programme and continues to deepen her knowledge working with Kathi Ross Nash Personally.

As we live longer, addressing a healthy ageing process is important. Janine enjoys sharing her enthusiasm with her older clientele. She firmly believes that we should never stop progressing and achieving our goals.
After two hip replacements she has an in depth knowledge of how to use Pilates for successful rehab and is keen to share her experience.
Janine is proud to have created a platform for young teachers to complete their training hours in a supportive, positive atmosphere, giving them teaching opportunities and the advantage of using a fully equipped studio to further develop their practise.
She is very proud that JRProPilates is now in its second generation under the management of her daughter, Elise.
